Everyone has heard of an artificial hip, but today you can replace many more joints using the latest materials and techniques with better looking and minimally invasive effects. At this surgery the most important goal for us is to leave as much of the patients own bones as possible. We use a prosthesis composed of titanium, ceramics and special plastics engineered to the millimetre, degree and minute which are able to withstand decades of wear. They can often be inserted un-cemented, allowing for the overgrowth natural bone.
